is now accepting applications for 3 and 4 year old children.
With over 40 years of experience in early childhood education, Head Start has successfully provided support to children and their families in five component areas:
Education
Comprehensive Health
Disability Services
Social Services
Parent Involvement
Head Start is a FREE PRE-SCHOOL PROGRAM for children of families that qualify based on the federal poverty guidelines, childhood disabilities and various family circumstances.
The following information wil be needed at the time of pre-registration:
child's official birth certificate
child's up-to-date immunization record
child's TennCare or insurance card
social security numbers
dates of birth for all family members
3 emergency contacts
proof of household income (Income Tax or W-2 Forms, year to date pay stubs or Families First/Food Stamp Verification)
