Who runs this site

HeadStartPrograms.org is an independently operated directory. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the Office of Head Start, or any Head Start grantee, delegate agency, or program.

Our mission

We help families find contact information for Head Start and Early Head Start programs and centers across the United States, and give programs and the public a way to flag information that looks out of date or incorrect.

What this site does not do

• We do not determine eligibility for any program.
• We do not accept or process enrollment applications.
• We do not guarantee that a listing is currently accurate, open, or accepting new families.
• We do not charge families to use the directory or to submit a correction.

Geographic scope

The directory covers Head Start and Early Head Start programs and centers reported across U.S. states, counties, and cities. Coverage depends on the underlying data sources described on our Data Sources page and may not include every program everywhere.
