How to submit a correction

Every center and program page has a "Report Incorrect Information" link, which opens a message tied to that listing. Program and center records can also be updated directly through the listing's update form, when one is available.

What to include

To help us verify a correction quickly, please include:

  • your name and a way to reach you (email);
  • your relationship to the listing, if any (parent, staff, program administrator, etc.);
  • what specifically is wrong or out of date; and
  • the correct information, if known.

Verification and moderation

Corrections and listing updates are not published automatically. Submitted changes are held for staff review before they replace the live listing, so a small delay between submission and publication is expected.

Audit trail

Submitted updates are recorded separately from the live listing until they are reviewed, so the original information remains visible and intact while a change is pending.

Closures and duplicate listings

Reports of a closed program or a duplicate listing are reviewed by staff. We do not automatically delete or merge records based on a single report; closures and merges are applied after review.

If a correction wasn't reflected

If you submitted a correction and don't see it reflected after a reasonable time, please contact us again with the listing name/URL and what you originally reported, and we'll follow up.
