Early Childhood Education in Farmington Public Schools offers children a rich learning environment for exploring and discovery. Children are encouraged to expand their thinking while developing a positive self-image.

Head Start generally serves children ages 3 to 5 who meet local eligibility requirements. Pregnant women and children from birth to 3 years of age are eligible for Early Head Start services. Children and families who are homeless, in foster care, or receive TANF or SSI are also eligible for services. Eligibility is determined by Head Start program staff and some families may be eligible for services if they are determined to be at or below the federal poverty level. Some grantees enroll a percentage of children from families with incomes above the Poverty Guidelines as well.

Enroll in School The following information must be provided by the parent/guardian at the time of enrollment: Identification Photo I.D., such as a driver’s license, State I.D., or passport of parent, step-parent, or legal guardian. Driver’s license or state I.D. must show current address*. Residency Three current proofs; one from Column I, and two from Column II, in the name and address* of parent, step-parent, or legal guardian. If parent/guardian does not own or rent the home in which they are living, enrollment must begin at Central Office, 32500 Shiawassee, Farmington, MI 48336.
