About This Organization

Head Start is a federally funded preschool program whose focus is to provide quality instruction and education with an emphasis on early literacy and mathematics. Children leave Head Start prepared for elementary school and a successful transition to kindergarten. Teachers use research based curriculum. Instruction is provided in both individual and small group settings. The classroom environment and teacher instruction provide opportunities for each child to develop at their own pace in a stimulating and challenging setting.
