About This Organization

The Carole Robertson Center serves children from birth through 18 years and their parents, as well as other community adults and child care providers in need of education or training. Children Served by Age Birth to 3 – 27% 3 to 5 – 46% 6 to 12 – 17% 12 to 18 – 10%

Who is Eligible?

Head Start generally serves children ages 3 to 5 who meet local eligibility requirements. Pregnant women and children from birth to 3 years of age are eligible for Early Head Start services. Children and families who are homeless, in foster care, or receive TANF or SSI are also eligible for services. Eligibility is determined by Head Start program staff and some families may be eligible for services if they are determined to be at or below the federal poverty level. Some grantees enroll a percentage of children from families with incomes above the Poverty Guidelines as well.

To enroll your child call (773) 938-8130, or email or call the site directly.When enrolling your child, please bring:Your child’s birth certificateProof of income (two most recent check stubs)Results from your child’s last physical and dental check-upsYour child’s immunization recordTUITIONWe use a sliding fee scale based on the family’s income and the number in the household to calculate monthly tuition. Parents pay a low co-payment; the remainder of tuition is covered by government subsidies.
