~ Area Head Start Program Offers free Early Childhood Development and
Education Services for Low-Income Families~
ESC Region 19 Head Start is currently enrolling children and families into the program. Children are eligible to participate in the Head Start and Early Head Start program by meeting federal income guidelines and eligibility requirements.
Region 19 Head Start serves 3,850 preschool children and 213 infants and toddlers throughout 31 centers. Families with children under the age of five, including expectant parents who live in El Paso and Hudspeth counties, may be eligible for enrollment.
