About / How to Apply

APPLYING TO AND ENROLLING IN HEAD START IS PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL! ALL information you share about your family, including the amount and source of your income, is CONFIDENTIAL. - After you submit your Pre-Enrollment request, you will be contacted by your local Head Start staff to begin the official application process. - To complete the application process, you will be asked to provide proof of birth and 12 months income verification. - Children must be at least 3 years old and not older than 5 to enroll in the program. Selection criteria are based on age, income, disabilities and other factors that demonstrate a need for services. - Children are selected to fill classes for the upcoming school year during the summer. If your child is accepted, you will receive an Acceptance Letter. We accept applications year-round to fill vacancies as they occur.
